Q: What is your cancelation policy?
A: We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for private training sessions and a 12 hour cancellation policy for our group classes. Our policy is that if you do not cancel within the required time then we deduct the session from your training package. The reason we do this is because we want you to prioritize and take your health seriously. If you are consistently scheduling and canceling your appointments, you are denying someone else time. We realize that emergency’s, illnesses, and bad weather come about. We do not charge during bad weather or if you have an emergency.
Q: Is the first session free?
A: Yes. The first session is on the house! We are very confident that you will see the awesome benefits that Fitness has to offer. During your first session we will give you a tour of the studio, find out your goals and how to obtain them, and bring you through a brief assessment/workout to see what your fitness foundation is.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, we do. We can set up payment plans for the packages over the course of the package be it weekly or monthly payments.
Q: What if my trainer isn’t a good fit?
A: If you don’t feel your trainer is a good fit, don’t fret! We have an arsenal of amazing trainers at your disposal. While we stand by each trainer’s expertise and credentials, we know that people connect with people on different levels and this is a personal experience. You deserve a trainer who brings out the best in you! All you have to do is contact us right away and we will not rest until we find your personal fitness hero!
Q: What if I want to cancel my package?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. Packages are offered at discounted prices to benefit our clients. Packages are valid for up to a year after purchase. If you experience an injury outside of our studio, in most cases, we still have the ability to accommodate you. Our team can customize your workout to safely keep you on your fitness journey. That is of course within our scope of practice. We have strong relationships with medical practitioners whom we will refer you out to so you know that you are in great hands. If you experience pregnancy, we also have a pre and postnatal specialist who can surely meet your needs.
Q: Are classes unlimited?
A: We have an array of package options for you to choose from. If you’re looking for an unlimited package though we offer the Platinum Package, which is unlimited group classes. Please see our pricing options for further details.
Q: How are you different than going to the gym?
A: We pride ourselves on being different than a gym. Trust us, we don’t enjoy going to the gym either! Fitness Artist offers group classes but also private one-on- one training. We offer complete privacy in order for you to feel you can work out in a non-intimidating environment. We also provide our clients with as much coaching as needed to obtain their goals. We also offer nutrition plans and many more benefits and rewards.
Q: What is FA Rewards?
A: FA Rewards is a rewards system based on points. Earn points for referrals, purchases, social media posts, and reap the rewards! Cash your points in for meal plans, sessions, and more!
Q: What is your community involvement?
A: We are committed to community improvement and are always looking for ways to contribute and give back. We participate in events and provide donations as well as try to raise awareness for causes. If you have an organization you’d like us to contribute to please contact us.
Q: Do you offer nutrition plans?
A: Of course we do! We are here for all of your wellness needs! We not only offer customized nutrition plans based on your dietary needs and goals we offer the Sculpt U program. Sculpt U takes customized nutrition to the max by offering daily coaching and check-ins. You have access to a wealth of information to reach your goals. It’s like having your own daily guardian nutrition angel to make sure you complete your tasks and stay on track.
Q: How do you pair me up with my trainer?
A: We pair you with trainers based on many factors such as your goals, aspirations, male or female preference, current fitness level, and who we feel you would connect with based on your personality.
Q: In the event of a snowstorm, will I still be charged?
A: Your trainer will communicate with you the day prior to discuss rescheduling options. We don’t want you to sacrifice your safety to workout. After all, your health and wellness come first!
Q: What if I’m late to my session?
A: In a perfect world, time wouldn’t matter. Unfortunately, our trainer’s schedules are based on a very strict clock as we serve clients back-to- back. Respecting client’s time is taken very seriously. Sitting in a waiting room at the doctor’s office can be incredibly time consuming and aggravating. With this in mind, we do our best to make appointments start and end promptly.
Q: Can I train at all 3 locations?
A: Absolutely! We pride ourselves in being very accommodating for our clients. Whatever works for your schedule, we will make happen!
Q: Can I train with different trainers?
A: Of course! In fact, we encourage it. Each trainer has such great certifications and specializations, why limit yourself to one? We want you to get as many benefits as you can from being part of our company and training with our diverse team!
Q: Do you have changing rooms?
A: All locations are equipped with changing rooms. Loudonville and Saratoga are also equipped with showers.
Q: I’m new to exercise; do you have classes that are for beginners?
A: We have classes and trainers for everyone. We serve clients from every walk of life in any stage of their fitness journey. We have classes for the complete novice all the way to training the professional athlete.
Q: Do you allow clients to train without instruction?
A: No. All classes are instructed by one of our trainers. There is no open gym where you can freely use our equipment. We do however have cardio rooms that clients can freely use without staff at no additional costs.
